Raydon Parish Council comprises nine Councillors and the Parish Clerk. The Parish Council meets eleven times a year and Meetings are held in the Pavilion at King George’s Playing Field, any villagers are welcome to attend the meetings as observers, and there is always an open forum at the beginning of each meeting.
As the first tier of local government, we strive to represent the views of all villagers and to act as a source of advice and information.
The Annual Parish Meeting is held in April, when the Parish Council reviews its activities during the past year – this is a chance for electors to come together and discuss parish matters. The AGM is held in May.
